Blue Dragon

Gender:

Male

Role:

Archmage, Castellan

Residence:

Greywood Castle

Relationship:

Single

Archmage of Greywood and acting Castellan since Mary Goldenhand stepped down, Ceregos is the #2 in the city. It's his job to oversee a great deal of Greywood's problems and ensure that their solutions come swiftly and appropriately. As a person, he's otherwise very carefree, spending his downtime fishing and eating cucumber sandwiches by the harbor. Despite his kind demeanor, Ceregos is an extraordinary mage befitting his station, posessing a wealth of knowledge in a variety of subjects. Uncaring toward matters of sex and romance, by and large, he prefers a good book to a partner. No use trying to woo him.

Amanda Cadwell

Race:

Female

Role:

Personal Assistant to Gwenya Malos

Residence:

Greywood Castle

Relationship:

Single

Amanda is Gwenya's personal executive assistant. She's with her more than anyone, and it's her job to keep her on task. She was chosen for the job for many reasons, chief of which being her qualifications, but one being that she's every bit as willing to partake in Greywood's fun activities as Gwenya is. When you see the girls together, and it's not time for work, it's usually in a state of undress. Amanda has a family living in the inner city, of which she's the eldest of four daughters.

Formerly the Castellan, Mary was and her husband, Hekt'aanoru, were among the first to be hired by Lady Malos after Greywood was rebuilt. Mary grew increasingly tired of her job, however, and had set up the dungeon clubs in the basement as a way to have fun and unwind from it. Eventually, she asked Gwenya if she could run them full time, which she approved of. Ceregos volunteered to take over as castellan, at least for the time being. Now, Mary is much happier and is able to see her family more often. She's a kind person, unlike her dominatrix persona, and will go to great lengths to help others.

Role:

Lord Commander, Paladin

Residence:

One of the first people hired after the reconstruction. Hekt'aanoru is usually called Hector, a name he prefers and is much easier to pronounce and spell. He's a large man who has been a paladin for ages and has considerable experience in all forms of combat, generally wielding a greathammer. Overseeing all of Greywood's military and guard, he's considered to be just under Ceregos in terms of hierarchy, equal to Ceredant Silentsong. A nice enough guy, he is rather relaxed in practice, though makes sure his soldiers are ready for anything. His reputation is that he's a fair person who gives plenty of opportunities for others to shine.

Cerise is one of Gwenya's assistants, often tasked with welcoming foreign dignitaries and important guests, conducting tours of the Castle, and other important diplomatic tasks. Although often found wearing regal dresses and accessories, Cerise much prefers a more freeing, salacious outfit. You can usually tell if she's on or off duty by looking at how much skin is shown. Due to her position she's assigned a bodyguard, Saanura, who she started dating. Cerise has two children, both Saanura's. Though the two would like to get married, they haven't set a date.

Saanura is a very simple woman. She likes to fuck, feed, and fight, in that order. She thinks that talking is much less important than doing and will rarely converse for more than a half hour at a time before she gets bored. Being next to Cerise all day, whose job is to talk, this can prove annoying, though Cerise has learned how to make it worth her while. So far she has given Cerise two children whom she loves dearly. Wants to get married, but hasn't set a date. Particularly gifted below the belt, Saanura is a frequent visitor of Greywood's dungeon clubs.

Making a deal to work at Fort Clemency for six months in exchange for citizenship, she readily took it, and is almost through with her contract. Whether she intends to stay there or move to the city is unknown, but whatever she chooses, she'll do what she has fun with. Her life has so far been filled with Greywood's normal eccentricities, with the large majority of the fort's soldiers finding themselves in her bed at one point or another, usually in one another's company. Although not a monk herself, she is able to make decent use of the mists in her healing. Currently on maternity leave in Greywood.

Married to Tezkie Whorehandler

Elected twice in a row to the city council, Pinksie is perhaps the most popular elected representative in Greywood. She can often be found around town attending various events and interacting with the townspeople, especially at Club Bliss, her favorite hangout. Prior to becoming married to Tezkie and getting elected, Pinksie was a prostitute who came to Greywood to find better work on her knees. Hitting it off with Tezkie, she was encouraged to run for city council, and the rest is history. Although no longer getting paid for it, her nights haven't really changed that much.

Seeing profit, she dumped a small fortune into Greywood, and the returns were astronomical. In addition to owning many brothels and clubs, Tezkie owns a chain of salons staffed primarily by goblins. For those looking for a higher class experience, Tezkie's time can still be bought, and is quite often, though for a significant fee.

Zateda Moonsworn

Age:

Race:

Blood Elf

Role:

Mage, Assistant to Ceregos

Residence:

Greywood Castle

Dating Naeyra Silversinger

Zateda was once a loyal mage for the Horde, doing what was necessary for the Sin'dorei to prevail in this world. That changed when, during the Siege of Orgrimmar, she became friends with Naeyra Silversinger, who at the time was a siege operator for the Alliance. Zateda came to understand Naeyra's belief in Elune during a time when she held low esteem for the Horde, and she took to solitude to determine her beliefs. Finally, she rejoined Naeyra in Greywood as a convert, believing in Elune's protection over Azeroth and denouncing the Sin'dorei's application of brutality in religion. She was eventually hired as an assistant to the Archmage, and though overqualified, enjoys her job very much. She's dating Naeyra now, and is casually involved with her wife, Vazi. She once owed a great deal of money to some goblin loan sharks, a debt which was wiped clean, alongside 4/5 of the debt's owners, by Lady Malos when they came to Greywood to collect.

Once a siege engineer for the Alliance military following the Kaldorei's joining, Naeyra grew a distaste for war and sought a path that would allow her peace and quiet. Having no marketable skills outside of warfare, however, this was hard for some time. It was not until hired to work in Greywood that she found steady employment and a job she loves doing. She met Vazi working there, seeing her daily, and eventually the two fell in love and married. She's recently become involved with Zateda, an old friend and recent convert to Elune. In her off-time she likes to paint, donating each painting to various places in town, as well as painting murals in public places, usually of peaceful scenes.

Vazi

Race:

Paladin

Relationship:

Married to Naeyra Silversinger

Vazi is a very simple kind of paladin. She believes that evil is a black and white issue and that those on the wrong side of the line should be put down. Being very good at putting such people down, she's dissimilar to many paladins in that she focuses solely on attacking. She doesn't carry a shield, instead preferring two swords with the idea that she'll kill the opponent before they can strike. This doesn't always work; she lost her left eye in a battle years ago as a result. Since moving to Greywood alongside her brother Hataa she's been relaxed and comfortable, marrying Naeyra Silversinger and attending parties fancier than herself. She's having a good time.

Hataa

Hataa has been with his sister Vazi for most of their lives, the two believing in the importance of family above all else. As such, when Vazi came to Greywood, Hataa was right beside her. The two took the same posting and became coworkers, guarding Lady Malos together night and day. He's an honest, hardworking man whose idea of relaxation is getting home, drinking some ale, and reading a good book. In combat he is primarily defensive, using a spear and shield, and so makes a great pairing with Vazi.

At first she worked for Tezkie Whorehandler at a brothel, but was eventually hired as one of Gwenya's 'milkmaids', the people in charge of milking her, bottling it, and distributing the much sought-after drink. She and her sister Lillidee fell in love years ago in Gnomeregan, but were only able to be married when they came to Greywood due to the relaxed laws and views on incest. Cain's most distinguishing feature, the one most people notice off the bat, is that he's blind. Often times he'll wrap his eyes in blindfold to reiterate it and prevent any awkward encounters from those who don't know him. He doesn't mind questions, but the answer is always the same: 'It was an accident'. Cain's father was a blacksmith who accidentally ignited phosphorus in his face as a child, permanently blinding him. He doesn't let it bother him. Incredibly charismatic, Cain's motto is 'let's make a deal'. Potentially a dangerous individual in politics had he gone the wrong way, Cain is convinced that the pursuit of power is a mistake to those that seek it, and that the way to obtain true power is to create an institution that stokes it over time. He's put his faith in Greywood, believing that in doing so, he'll rise even higher. He has a young son whom he fathered with Josephine Hawkins after a long night debating.

She didn't really do any of that, and stuck to her little corner of Westfall with her father into adulthood, always dreaming. The Defias killed her father and took her captive, hoping a pretty woman would draw a nice ransom. When Gwenya massacred the Defias she set Josephine free and, along with other prisoners, offered a place in Greywood for them. She took the offer, deciding then and there to no longer put herself last. She became motivated to improve her station in life, and with the many opportunities afforded to her, she managed it, being elected to city council. In her free time she sings at various clubs. Though not exactly royalty, she married Allan Hawkins, a knight. She has two children with Allan, as well as a son with Cain Fletcher.

Gabi was once a thief, and a pretty good one at that. She enjoyed sneaking, stealing, and the big paydays that followed. She and her twin sister Gavi worked together until they were caught trying to sneak into Greywood. Always opportunistic, Gwenya hired them as assistants who could go unseen and get things done. Their roles have varied since, requiring less subtlety and occasionally more diplomacy, but they remain happy in their careers. Gabi and Gavi can usually be found in the Castle basements when they're not in the milking rooms.

Recently in Greywood, they even started dating the same guy, a tauren named Helaku. Though the two no longer break into homes and thieve, they do sneak around and keep their skills sharp for when they're needed. Of course, the only thing they steal now are kisses.

Helaku left the Horde when Sylvanas was named Warchief, believing that she would bring nothing but destruction to his people. Unable to convince others, he left alone, finding refuge in Greywood. He took protection jobs at first but found himself overqualified. He was introduced to The Crypt, the city's official 'fight club', and decided to compete for the money. Helaku has been champion ever since, and remains undefeated in the martial ring. Although well off due to the prize money, he lives a relatively quiet personal life. Although both her parents perished in the battle, the group was able to free the Dragonqueen Alexstrasza from her imprisonment. She buried her parents in the Hinterlands, moving South to try and put her loss behind her. For years she fought the Horde, the Scourge, and others, trying to find a place she could rest and relax. After many years, she found Greywood, still young, and settled there after meeting the Countess. She took a job as a masseuse believing that helping others relax would relax herself. The war scarred the land, but brought to her an Alliance healer named Cadriel, a night elf who shared her desire to help others. Cadriel had been injured gravely, saved by Ling but cast aside as a broken cog in the war machine. Together they survived, and once the war in Pandaria cleared, and the survivors tended to, they made their way to the Eastern Kingdoms, chartering passage by ship to Greywood, a city known for its medicine. The two married there, working in the castle to teach both Pandaren and Kaldorei healing to others. Ling and Cadriel both took to Greywood's culture immediately, enjoying the freedom in life that they felt was lost on the world.

Hollis is Greywood's sole Forsaken resident, the only current exception to its unwritten life guidelines. Hollis was young when he was killed in Stratholme, raised to serve the Lich King in his unholy conquest of Lordaeron. Breaking free, he joined Sylvanas as many others did. However, after a time he grew detested with the Forsaken, believing their culture of disgust and inhumanity was as monstrous as the Scourge. Forever a pacifist, Hollis defected South, seeking to build a life for himself in peace elsewhere. He traveled with great difficulty until finding Greywood, but was at first turned away due to the city's distaste for the Forsaken. He appealed to Lady Malos, who decided to help him out. She stopped the decay of his body and fixed what she could, making him look more human than undead. He took a job working as an arborist, helping in park planning and in the forests outside the city. Although offered citizenship, he wishes to wait until he has earned the trust of everyone first, as some are still skeptical. In public he wears a hood and mask to hide the less intact portions of his body, and often keeps to himself. His belief is that being undead should not change his mind, and he's kept to that, hard as it may sometimes be. Initially on the ruder side, the community has warmed up to him. Hollis has a casual relationship with an asexual man in the guard, perfect for him, as he finds it hard to be sexual with his current body.

Joining Greywood's military, she was eventually given the duty of overseeing the work on Fort Clemency, followed by a promotion and the authority over it. She's a fair woman overall with good words from many prior subordinates, with a reputation for being relaxed in all but her unit's safety. Ceredant Silentsong is a name known to many veterans of the battles of Kalimdor in and following the Third War. A warrior of great renown, his blade pierced the hearts of a thousand mighty foes in defense of Azeroth from the Burning Legion. He fought constantly since, joining up with allies that would take him closer toward the goal of annihilating the Legion. It was a wonder to many that he did not seek the path of the Illidari. During the war against the Lich King, he traveled to Northrend to fight there as well, believing the undead to be a crime against life itself. When he returned, he joined up with Greywood, his experience highly valuable to Gwenya's plans. Briefly appearing on Argus, when he returned to Azeroth he spent little time before traveling to Kalimdor following the destruction of Teldrassil, in that time slaying as many Forsaken as he could get in reach of. He returned with black eyes and a renewed commitment to exterminate the undead from the face of the world. A military commander, although his authority is in equal standing to Hector, his focus is on the slayers and mercenaries, among other nontraditional aspects of military doctrine. Ceredant carries with him a greatsword that Gwenya ordered forged for him; demonsteel with a core of tempered saronite, a tool for the purpose of killing the undead. Ceredant has a daughter, Calea, who often lives with him when not working at Fort Clemency.

The personnel file of Denariel Trueseer is not open for public, or even internal perusal. He was hired directly by the Countess as her envoy to various lands, attached to high ranking military missions in order to ensure no problems arise from their presence in other lands. His reputation is that he solves problems in much the same way the Countess does: Diplomacy, followed by mass slaughter. Despite his carefree, cheerful nature, Denariel is suspected in several allegations of war crimes and at least one wide-scale massacre claiming the lives of several hundred combatants and neighboring innocents, with many more crimes suspected under a variety of aliases stretching back well over a thousand years. He answers to few in the Greywood hierarchy and, notably, takes shit from no one. He usually can be seen with closed eyes; he is not blind, but claims to possess a sight so potent as to see through the hearts and minds of those he looks at, at the cost of being a painful experience to him and others. A man of few friends, Denariel has a habit of making enemies out of practically everyone; an odd quality for a diplomat, as it has been noted. Denariel was arrested after a fight between himself, Aere, Calea, and Scipior, revealing that Greywood had been investigating him for some time to prepare evidence against him which, thanks to the fight, allowed a workable arrest which eventually lead to his execution.

Christiana was once a commoner from Westfall with no more than pennies to her name, living on a small patch with her friend, Anne Chesterman, and her parents, after Christiana's perished in conflict. At the time, Christiana was studying, hoping to become a priestess alongside Anne. When the Defias killed Anne's parents she became distraught, which is when she was approached by a religious group of people who offered solace from her troubles. Anne left to join them, leaving her friend behind. Christiana believes that Anne was brainwashed by this cult who took advantage of her suffering, and wants to find her and bring her back. She became a paladin and joined up with Greywood for the sole purpose of fighting the Thousand Eyes, stopping at nothing to bring her friend home.

Female

Arcanist

Greywood Castle

Relationship:

Single

Azerea has conducted scholarly studies and research missions for centuries, and has been hired for one purpose alone: She is the world's greatest living expert on the Thousand Eyes cult. Secretive and distrustful, she is fully aware of the immense reach that the group has in nearly every type of organization. Although a nice person, and definitely a fun and witty friend to have in a group, she won't ever talk about her work to any but a select and trusted few. In her free time (which isn't much, as she's somewhat of a workaholic when there's work to be done) she enjoys Greywood's night life, often following an evening of clubbing by getting breakfast at a local diner before sleeping in the day. Her friends jokingly refer to her as a Night Elf due to her nocturnal nature. If you've caught her awake in the day, it's almost certainly attending one of the city's fashion shows, a topic she loves to discuss.

Residence:

Port Town/Fort Clemency

Relationship:

Engaged to Aeoliynn

Sydrieth is a woman of vices, some might say. She likes to drink, eat, gamble, sleep around, and do whatever will make the night more fun. She spends a lot of time and money having the time of her life, money she gets from her job as a slayer. Her knack for killing people is astounding to observe; it's not that she's great at it, it's that she's really lazy about it and will find ways of killing people without going through any actual fighting. Traps are her specialty, lying in wait for her prey to get picked up by a net, hit by a poison dart, fall into a spike pit, or whatever is easiest and has the highest rate of success. She'll avoid a fight by any costs, seeking to not physically engage with an opponent. You'll probably come to know her if you're involved in Greywood's night life. Sins aside, she's a fun girl to hang around.

Aeoliynn is every bit the woman meant for her fiancee. She, too, enjoys the night life of gambling, drinking, fucking, and fun. Aeoliynn and Sydrieth met in a bar when Aeoliynn was challenging people to arm wrestle her for drinks. Though Sydrieth lost, the two made their way back to a room and, after some distractions were out of the way, began to talk and became very friendly. They've been dating for a couple of years and recently got engaged. Both of them work as slayers, both deployed to Fort Clemency together in the Swamp. Though Aeoliynn is more the 'march and charge' type than the conniving assassin-like Sydrieth, they often find ways of working together in the field to be together more often. You might now Aeoliynn if you are attend any of the Crypt's fight nights where she often competes. She has a two sons and one daughter from a previous relationship. The eldest son is a soldier for the Alliance, and the other two work and live in Greywood.

Elias has had a long career in politics, beginning from when he was taken as an apprentice to the mayor of a small town in Westfall and, most recently prior to his current job, as the magistrate of the same town. Unfortunately, his town was wiped off the map by the Cataclysm. He worked for years to gain aid from Stormwind to help the refugees of the calamity, but none came, and one by one they were either picked up or picked off by Defias and other bad actors. He eventually came alongside his wife to Greywood, having nothing left to stay for, and sought a job in accounting work. Recognizing his ability and mentality, he was encouraged to run for City Council and subsequently won a seat. His reputation is that he's a very caring man whose door is always open to any and all who might wish to speak to him. His wife, Audrey, works part-time at a library, mostly to pass the time. They can often be found in a particular coffee shop each morning enjoying donuts and a hazelnut brew.

The Tainted Ichor

Relationship:

Single

Captain Evangeline Carlyle is among one of the pirate captains that Greywood hired in the early days of their shipping expansion, protecting their cargo and keeping the thieves on their own side. Safer and more lucrative to work for the winning team, Eva (as she likes to be called) gladly took the offer. She inherited her father's ship, the Tainted Ichor, upon his death to a Horde warship seven years ago, filling his boots as best she could and showing a remarkable talent for piracy at a young age, focusing much of her attention on Horde ships as revenge. For some time she patrolled the seas and sunk competing pirates under Greywood's flag, though nowadays she spends much of her time in harbor directing others. Her original crew has mostly moved upward and onward in other jobs on ships or in the city, and she has little motivation to continue sailing. Lately, she's been looking for the right time to retire the Ichor and take a naval logistics position that Gavin Zeal has offered her for a while, living in the city. Personality-wise, Eva is a casual type who enjoys bantering and drinking with others, making bets and occasionally getting into fights, either with her hands or her battle-worn glaive. She lost her left eye in a battle with another pirate when she was 17, emerging victorious at the cost and taking the enemy's life. Ever since, she's worn her hair over that eye, with an eyepatch underneath, as she feels that it makes her look weak.

Kasey Simons is the youngest son of Elwin and Lillith Simons, Knight of Redridge and Scholar of Dalaran respectively. He, like his older sister, got his start in politics in Stormwind, studying city planning with a goal of becoming a developer. He left to return to Lakeshire after becoming enraged by the local politics of the capital. He took a job in the new County of Greywood to help in planning, choosing to relocate and eventually stay permanently as he fell in love with the city's culture. He was elected to the city council to be a voice of knowledge on the County's eternal growth. In his free time he enjoys hanging out at the various clubs, attending community events at his closest library, and visiting Greywood Castle's upper balconies to paint the horizons.

Cainar 'Cainastrasz' Phoenixflare

Red Dragon/Quel'dorei

Gender:

Male

Role:

Ambassador

Residence:

Greywood Castle

Relationship:

Single

Cainar is among Greywood's most respected figures among both politicians and others alike. He has a reputation of peaceful diplomacy, levelheadedness, and benevolent leadership. His most major downfall is his prideful nature, an effect of his draconic ancestry. He did not willingly choose to come into Greywood's service, and if asked, may often say that he does not work for Greywood: He serves at the pleasure of the Countess. When Gwenya Malos found Cainastrasz in the deep, forgotten halls beneath Northrend, the dragon had grown self-centered, believing he alone had claim to the untold volumes of knowledge in the Titanic vault that he had spent eons absorbing and protecting from the dark. He pridefully challenged her to a game of intellect, the ancient rules of Chess. The loser would enter the other's service, and he believed Gwenya would prove a good entertainment and better mate. Gwenya won their games, allowing the dragon to play to the best of thirteen before he was forced to admit defeat. He thus entered her service, though she altered the contract: His service would last one year only, at which point they would replay the game. He has vowed to defeat her, but in the mean time, would serve her to the best of his ability. Ceregos has noted that, although he won't admit it to most due to his pride, Cainar would never allow himself to depart, and any game they play now would be irrelevant, and they both know it. Many have asked how Cainar, a red dragon, could have obtained the burn on his face, and it has to do precisely with that contract. Once he accepted his role in Greywood, he altered his form from the draconically-stereotypical high elf to one burned, marked by mortality, so as to remind him that he is never without fault. In truth, and obviously enough, he is immune to fire.

Elsie first moved to Greywood three years ago, following her eldest brother from their home in Westfall in search of better opportunities, she being the youngest of three children and the only daughter. Her eldest brother became a guard, now guarding the Castle gates that she passes each morning, taking the opportunity to bring him a snack as she does. Lacking a suitable trade, she became a housekeeper with the ambition to have a permanent career working under a nice family that would afford her the stability and environment to raise a family of her own. Of course, this has not yet happened. Being a shy woman from an isolated upbringing, she's had little success in dating. She's currently studying in her free time to learn more about equestrian pursuits as she lacks the experience most people have in horse riding and rearing, never having been on one in her life. Her other brother, the middle one, remains in Westfall to this day, helping on their uncle's farm. Elsie enjoys sappy romance novels, flute music, and deep, personal discussions.

Simon desires one thing in his future: To publish the next great Azerothian novel. For the past four years he has worked on his fictional masterpiece, 'Holier Than Thou', with the intent of rocking the world with his story. The story is of a popular and powerful paladin who looses his way and must start at square one to return to the Light when the world needs him most. In the meantime, however, Simon has bills to pay; he wanted a job with a lot of downtime to think, and so took a position guarding one of Greywood's gates. In truth all he did was stand still for eight hours and go home, but apparently he was so good at it that he was promoted. Now he's a Sergeant, somehow, and took a job guarding the home of some family in the Village. He stands at their gate and thinks about his novel, then goes home to write. Simon is a friendly fellow, though his mind is a bit one-track as attested by his wife, Rosalind, who works as a schoolteacher in the Inner City. Although he seems to suffer from Imposter Syndrome, he really is an excellent guard. Of course, it's not a very difficult job to do if you're someone who doesn't get bored of it. Just don't ask him about his book; he'll talk about it forever. Simon wears a bandanna over his head because he hates getting hair in his eyes when working but doesn't want to cut it shorter because Rosalind likes it longer on him.

Tesa was once a lieutenant in a mercenary company called Black Fang, which operated out of Booty Bay. Though outwardly they did protection jobs, they were known for being people that could get you things. They took what was needed and made sure anyone who got in their way didn't do it again. When the company was hired by Gwenya to retrieve an item of great value, a stone sarcophogus, from a group of Forsaken that had dug it up, most of them did not survive. Those few that did were offered a place in Greywood's military to continue fighting against the Cult that killed their comrades. Most of the recruits taken from the Black Fang did not work out, but Tesa did. Now a happy and thankful citizen, Tesa goes where she's needed and lives to allow others to enjoy the freedom and happiness she'd been given. She has an apartment in the inner city that she shares with her girlfriend, Vinalia, a kaldorei luthier who runs a musical instrument shop. In her spare time, Tesa enjoys wrestling, usually doing so naked, as she prefers nudity to clothes; even her armor lacks a full breastplate when she deems it unneeded.

Aralómë is a name well known to the people in Greywood; not everyone wants to be his friend, but no one wants to be his enemy. A veteran of countless wars, Aralómë came to Greywood in search of peace, to finally put the bloodshed to rest. He was convinced to take the job as one of Greywood's guards as it became obvious that the once-famous paladin had lost his faith in the Light over the eons. He has not yet had to kill a single person in his duties so far and wants to keep it that way. He regained his extraordinary power after finding the tenets of the Shadow, convinced by a follower in the city to listen. When the follower left this world, Aralómë was asked to protect the Shadow in Greywood, which he has done since, being assigned as the Church's Knight Protector, the individual in charge of the religion's security and safety in the county. Aralómë gained significant renown when, last year, he slew a dracolich and its necromantic rider that had defeated great challengers. His personal life is significantly more boring of a story; he lives in the Church, does not date, and is utterly ascetic to a fault. There's much to him that few know, for he is reticent toward the outside.

Kerrigan Crane has, for the past fifteen years, privately considered herself a witch. Spells, crystals, old tomes, and black clothes fill her bedroom from floor to ceiling. When the job posting for the Caretaker of the Church of Shadows opened up she was the first (and only) one in the door. She moved into the Church alongside Aralómë and started working on improving it right away. At first it was just something she enjoyed because it was dark and spooky, but over time she began to resonate a lot with the fair, merciful nature of the Shadow and eventually found herself a true believer. Her parents, lifelong believers in the Light, do not approve. Family dinners are tense. They assure her it's just a phase.

Victoria is the younger sister of Councilman Kasey Simons who never much cared for public service. She's not the smartest, but in a way, she is as far as business goes. She came to Greywood with a modest sum of gold from her grandfather and asked someone who to go to for financial advice. She then walked to the castle and handed it all to the Countess after a discussion, saying she seems smart. That modest sum has expanded over the past few years into a small fortune which has allowed to her do a great many things. Rather than do those things, however, she reinvested everything back into the fund. She has no job, nor any desire for one, and instead spends most days hanging around the Church of Shadows and bugging her best friend forever Kerrigan Crane. They grew up together and have been best friends since they were toddlers, though often times they seem like oil and water. Kerrigan is fiercely protective of Victoria and Victoria takes care of Kerrigan financially thinking nothing of it. Although she often dresses very provocatively (although not so much by Greywood's standards) she's no more lascivious than your average woman. She just thinks it's pretty. When away from the Church she can be found at various parties or out bothering her brother. As far as belief in the Shadows goes, she hasn't really thought about it. Doubt she will, either.

Residence:

Relationship:

Engaged to Szilvia Pasztor

Kaivis is Kerrigan's enigmatic elder brother, often unseen in comparison to the relatively social sister. Possessing no great strength nor arcana, Kaivis is beholden to a high intellect of great prowess, particularly in the fields of mathematics and engineering. When his family opted to move to Greywood to follow the steps of fellow-Duskwood native Gwenya Malos, he took a posting as an engineer purely to keep food on their table during the transition. He never wished to work as one professionally as he feared that his insights and talents would be forcibly conscripted into Azeroth's eternal quest for war. As a pacifist, he could not allow it. The Countess did eventually come to recognize his skill and made him a contract that he should work solely on structures for the use and betterment of Greywood's citizens, and not professionally interact with anything else save by his own independant decision. He agreed, after a while, and since then has been building homes and various other types of things. It was his idea to first begin subterranean construction of high-impact buildings beneath low-impact public centers, such as building restaurants beneath public parks, making great use of the city's sub-basement level tunnel network to keep congestion low and efficient traffic possibile in an ever-growing metropolis. He may seem boring, bored, or tired, but he's really just the latter; Kaivis has two children with Szilvia, both infants, and they are simultaneously the most important annoying things in his life.

At 20 years old she won a man's company to pay off a gambling debt and began to operate it, the group being called 'Seaborn Services', dedicated to smuggling. She worked as a smuggler for several years, building the company up further, until she was taken prisoner by Greywood three years ago for trying to smuggle weapons in to the city. Through some events she became hired in their logistics division, eventually working her way up to serving as its head. She's brash and has a lot of pirate lifestyle in her, but she's got a good mind for her job and greatly enjoys her new home.

Alec has been a soldier all his life. He was a teenager during the Gurubashi War, fighting in as an Alliance soldier who'd joined after his father was killed in the troll attacks in his home of Westfall. He fought in every war after, and many major conflicts, until ultimately retiring after the trial of Garrosh Hellscream had made him feel fed up with the life. He ended up being recruited by Greywood a couple of years later at the tail end of the Draenor Campaign. His role is entirely in advice and training, and he's not expected to partake in any fighting himself. He's made some significant improvements to Greywood's military since then. Most of his free time is spent camping, which he's always loved. He and his wife take to the countryside each weekend with a tent and some supplies to enjoy the scenery and quiet. During the week he doesn't engage much with Greywood's social scene, though he and his wife are members of a church in the Village. Although unwise to ask about his missing eye, he'll tell you that he lost it in the Battle of Ahn'Qiraj.

Skye was born in Gilneas to a harvest witch and a politician. She had a pleasant childhood, learning her father's trade, and left to study Economics in Stormwind when she was a teenager. Though her parents died in the attack on Gilneas, she was abroad and survived, though now without family or resources. Needing a quick job, she took something that was not her first choice, working for a mercenary company helping their logistical support. She was good at it, but she felt something lacking in her life that made her unhappy. One day, the mercenary company was hired by Greywood to do a job, resulting in all of their deaths save for Skye, as she never went into battle with them. She'd actually pulled one over on Gwenya, who fully expected all of the mercenaries to die and thus didn't care that the contract awarded the survivors a large sum in exchange for the losses, but here stood Skye, the last woman standing, now owed a significant amount of gold. Gwenya struck a bargain with her: She'd pay her in installments, and in the meantime, she can live in Greywood. In the event she wanted citizenship, she'd give it to her to wipe the debt clean. Skye accepted and began living in the Inner City. Two months later she bought her citizenship, and a year later entered into a marriage with a couple, Alenis Dawnveil and Venmis. What had been missing from her life had been found, and she became a wholehearted believer in Greywood's culture and message, getting involved in local politics and wanting to spread her joy to others. She was elected to the City Council and, given her experience and education, now runs Trade Oversight, including the Logistics Division. She bought a house in the Village and continues to live every day to its fullest.

Beatrice was among many who fled Gilneas during its downfall, having lived in the capital with her parents, who had been city guards themselves. Her father died, but her mother survived and escorted Beatrice and her brother Vayle to safety aboard the Night Elf's ships. They lived in Teldrassil for a time before hearing, from an old friend from back home, about Greywood. Greywood's immigration is soft on those who've lost their home, and so they were quickly moved in, each of them obtaining citizenship later on. Beatrice joined the City Guard, rising to become a Lieutenant after a few years. Her job is largely in manning the front gate, but she'll occasionally escort important visitors to and from the city as well. She's married to a draenei named Delora and has two children.

Delora is a rarity among Greywood's residents in that she did not meet any of the qualifications of citizenship but got it anyway. A few years ago, the Countess wrote an anonymous essay for a Stormwind newspaper which spelled out her ideas of governance and politics as a message to other nobles to follow the example. Delora, at the time working as a secretary at the newspaper, wrote a reply to her praising the letter, but included in it a critique of the author's grammar, stating that although largely correct, she made a mistake of mixing tenses, which undermines the message. They began to write back and forth for a while until she was invited to Greywood, where she decided to stay. Delora is rather young for a draenei and has spent much of her life assisting others. Once in Greywood she did the same until meeting and subsequently marrying Beatrice Oakley. Now she's found her love of being a mother, and has one child and one on the way. She spends much of her free time with her family, and the rest on her hobby of clay sculpting.

Most of his adventures occur in the Outer City, since he doesn't want to run into his parents out there. He's known to go to clubs, though he keeps his drinking minimal, and if you find him in one it's more likely he's drinking something light or non-alcoholic, since he knows he either has to pass for sober later or come up with an excuse as to why he stayed out all night. She came in search of a job that would let her make money to pay them back, but her creditors, criminals from Westfall, followed her. As with other criminal groups who come to Greywood, they disappeared mysteriously, and her debt was forgiven. Siera decided to stay and ended up working as a nurse, as she'd done so in the past. Amatia doesn't remember much of her life before coming to Greywood. She was a druid, and at some point lived in Teldrassil, and vaguely remembers being in Ashenvale, but that's about it. Like her sister, Eranelle, she came to Greywood to work and fell in love with the land and people. Each sister volunteered for an experimental, classified (at the time) treatment. It worked, but resulted in lasting memory problems. Luckily, they signed the waiver. Giving up their right to public testimony, they're taken care of in exchange for ongoing, periodic studies. She used her sizable settlement to set up Camp Trueheart, a forestry camp for druids and nature-lovers in Taur-na-Malos, the forest North of Greywood City, where she and Eranelle work to improve the county's wilderness, but mostly, where they have fun. She and Eranelle both forgot that they were siblings, and the closeness with one-another caused them to fall in love and get married. They remembered eventually, but nobody cares anyway.

She loves her sister, somehow believing that she's the younger of the two, and follows her everywhere. She's not as smart as Amatia, and less useful as a druid, and not as smart, and she forgets things, and she's not as smart, and she forgets things... But she has fun and loves everything and everyone, so she's very happy.

The story of Berry's nickname is a long and complicated one that he doesn't tell unless he's very drunk. He's had it for so long that being called by his given name feels weird. He's not very fond of his history before moving to Greywood, though being from Gilneas and having been afflicted there, one can assume it's not all sunshine and rainbows. He's a druid who helps out at Camp Trueheart, dealing with all of the administrative and official things that Amatia and Eranelle don't want to deal with, or what they forget to do. On top of that, he's in charge of security for the camp, not that it really needs it. He's a nice enough person, very easygoing, and generally just wants to relax. His favorite hobby is playing cards with people, although he's not a fan of gambling. Besides that, he likes reading horror stories, often staying up late to finish just one more chapter.

They each took up jobs in the stables before electing to join the newly-created Camp Trueheart, where they remain to this day. Mira's primary role at the camp is to make it fun for the people there, acclimating newcomers and hosting events, parties, and games for everyone. She's also, in practice, the camp therapist, always happy to listen and give advice to anyone. Her hobbies come and go with the season, but she's always finding something to do, usually enjoying other people's hobbies with them. She likes tea, owning a wide variety of it. It's rare to find her without a cup of it in her hand, or nearby, at all times.

Ala came to Greywood at the same time as her sister, Mira, and for the same reasons. After joining the Camp, Ala was later given a job as a public coordinator for Greywood's biological modification program, working with people who wanted to change themselves in some way. She split her time between the camp and the city, but is now in the camp more than half the time after being promoted to a research oversight role, conducting reviews and gathering data from ongoing research taking place at the camp. She's smarter than her sister, though less outgoing, both despite the appearances. Ala's favorite hobby is daydreaming. She puts on a pair of noise-cancelling earmuffs and a blackout blindfold and just lays around and daydreams for hours. Although a bit odd, she finds it incredibly relaxing, which helps as she's usually a somewhat nervous person.

Married to Ura Tallstrider

Hotah grew up as one of the Outrunners in Mulgore, training to protect those in his homeland from danger. During his adulthood he and his wife, Ura, decided to travel somewhere they'd always wanted to go: Stranglethorn Vale. While there, Hotah became embroiled in a conflict between trolls, pirates, and a goblin company, over the issue of mining ruins for buried treasure. The issue was ended when Greywood stepped in, destroying the goblins and pirates alike, and returned the area to the trolls who took care of it. Hotah was nearly killed by poison gas employed by the goblins, so he was taken back to Greywood for treatment. Once recovered, he felt he owed a debt to them, and sought to aid them however he could. After spending a year as a Slayer, he became a full-time caravan guard, protecting shipments between Greywood City and other neutral cities. His wife is an herbalist and works in a shop in the Inner City specializing in teas and Kalimdor-native plants.

Kinki is the twin sister of Kummi. The two were born in Booty Bay to a brothel mistress named Sluhti and raised in the family business. All was well in their lives until they got indebted to a criminal crew who torched their brothel and threatened to kill them. Fearing for their lives, they plead for asylum in Greywood and were accepted. An ambassador informed the gang that their debt was finished, but they didn't take kindly to it. The Slayers made quick work of the crew and took all of their possessions back home. 20% was given to the Loosehole family as compensation for their brothel and troubles. Sluhti used the money to start a new brothel, the Hyacinth. Kinki and Kummi worked there for a while before moving to the newly-built Camp Freespirit, becoming full-time whores for the camp's horny clientele. Kinki spends much of her free time baking and learning new recipes in the kitchen. She bakes birthday cakes for all of the staff at the camp when they come up, always experimenting with new delicious combinations.

Kummi is the twin sister of Kinki. She is much like her sister in nearly every way, though she thinks she's a bit boring in her private life. Rather than spending her free time baking, she usually spends it pulling extra shifts at work. Whoring isn't a job for her, it's a passion, a hobby, and something she loves doing more than anything. When she's not whoring, she's either partying or fucking for free. Kinki rarely attends the kinds of wild parties that Kummi loves going to because she has other hobbies she likes to spice up her life with, but Kummi is all sex all the time. Still, she loves her sister more than anyone in the world, just as Kinki loves her, and so they're inseperable.

Female

Role:

Bartender

Residence:

Camp Freespirit

Relationship:

Single

Tanara is the middle child of two politically connected parents who spent much of her upbringing learning to accept a role in Silvermoon's upper class. She kept her true wishes secret, and once able, left Quel'thalas, having secretly moved her valuables to parts unknown already. She traveled the world for some time, going on adventures and appreciating Azeroth's beauty, even in the dark and low places. She returned to Quel'thalas during the Scourge invasion, as although she had left her family, she wanted to help her people. They were dead by the time she arrived. She briefly joined the others following Kael'thas, but lacking the power to fight the Scourge, abandoned her people once again when faced with the difficulty and responsibility of keeping them safe. She hid herself in Booty Bay, tending bar at a seedy tavern, worrying that her own cowardice may have had great repercussions. This continued for years until her life was turned upside down by a strange event, called the Toy Rush. For reasons unknown, word spread that Greywood was offering a small fortune to the one who could bring a specific toy, which was somewhere in town, to a ship in the harbor. By coincidence, Tanara had found it and decided to turn it in, but faced tough opposition from others trying to take it from her to get the gold themselves. She ended up making it there, and rather than take the money, she asked to be taken away from the city to their home instead. She was allowed to come along, and once there applied for and was granted citizenship. She now tends bar at Camp Freespirit at the Hardwood Inn. Greywood has given her a purpose that she won't run away from and people she cares about who accept her for who she is. She's like a mother to most of the staff, taking care of them and making sure they're treated right. In her free time she likes to get comfy, drink wine, and read Ikala Yorgen's weird books.

Archibald Quigly

Male

Role:

Lieutenant Commander

Residence:

Greywood Castle

Relationship:

Single

Archibald Quigly, codename Thunder, is one of Greywood's special operatives. His job is to protect Greywood's secrets and ensure its informational security. He does this, primarily, by making sure traitors and leaks are silenced. He joined Lady Malos early on in her career, having known her since she moved to Stormwind. He has lead countless missions, nearly all of them classified to the highest degree, to ensure Greywood's security and success. Physically, he is a monster among monsters. Over seven feet tall and weighing five hundred pounds of pure muscle, he is among Greywood's strongest, relying on nothing more than his own body to prevail against all threats. He is famously boisterous, loud, and depending on who you ask, annoying as all hell. That said he's regarded highly as a soldier and rather popular among them, though he rarely interacts with them openly. No one knows what Archibald does, or where he goes, in his spare time. No one knows where in the castle he lives, either. Few know what he looks like, and many suspect him to be an orc in disguise, given that he never sheds his armor and helmet.

Samir Bishara

Age:

45

Race:

Human

Gender:

Male

Role:

Chairman

Residence:

The Village

Relationship:

Single

Samir Bishara is a lifelong businessman, having gotten his start as a minor working for his father, renowned philanthropist Sattar Bishara. Unfortunately, Samir learned as a young man that his father's money came not from agriculture,, as he was told, but from the slaves that worked in agriculture, which he owned and sold. Samir was torn between his love for his family and his strong sense of liberty. He left his family, but did nothing else, and spent time looking for an idol of true justice like what he had seen in his father. He looked to businesspeople, politicians, nobles, and all others, but found corruption in all of them. He got by doing odd jobs and being taken advantage of for his naivete. As he aged, attempted to find solace from a job posting in Lakeshire. It was here that he first met Gwenya Malos, who had introduced herself to him as 'a fellow math geek'. Unfortunately again, Samir got caught up in an assassination attempt against her as mercenaries hired by a noble of the region tried to kill Malos with a hail of spells and gunfire. Through a series of events, Samir's life was lost, yet he returned by resurrection to the world. Not for any gain or guilt, Gwenya had said upon bringing him back, but because it was the proper thing to do. Samir, in a fit that Gwenya believed to be some kind of post-resurrection hysteria, broke down and declared her a true paragon of justice. She brought him to Greywood for medical observation, where after a clean bill of health, he swore loyalty to her and asked 'to be allowed the honor to follow [her] for all time'. To which she replied, 'sure, I mean, I suppose', and felt uncomfortable at the strange intensity of the man. Samir became a true believer, and over time his belief only strengthened as he convinced himself and others that Gwenya was a divine being representing justice, like an avatar of the concept itself. He has since risen to become Chairman of the Council of Executors of Greywood, a group responsible for looking after all the tiny details of Greywood's interests and executing Gwenya's will. Lately, he's been one of the chief proponents of independence, and his fervor has not quieted at all. He remains single as he feels disappointed by the mind and grandeur of all other women. Although Gwenya would sleep with him if he asked, he never will, as he views himself (and nearly every other mortal) as being unworthy of her. In essence, he ships Gwenya and Ceregos, a coupling neither of the two care for.
