Samir Bishara is a lifelong businessman, having gotten his start as a minor working for his father, renowned philanthropist Sattar Bishara. Unfortunately, Samir learned as a young man that his father's money came not from agriculture,, as he was told, but from the slaves that worked in agriculture, which he owned and sold. Samir was torn between his love for his family and his strong sense of liberty. He left his family, but did nothing else, and spent time looking for an idol of true justice like what he had seen in his father. He looked to businesspeople, politicians, nobles, and all others, but found corruption in all of them. He got by doing odd jobs and being taken advantage of for his naivete. As he aged, attempted to find solace from a job posting in Lakeshire. It was here that he first met Gwenya Malos, who had introduced herself to him as 'a fellow math geek'. Unfortunately again, Samir got caught up in an assassination attempt against her as mercenaries hired by a noble of the region tried to kill Malos with a hail of spells and gunfire. Through a series of events, Samir's life was lost, yet he returned by resurrection to the world. Not for any gain or guilt, Gwenya had said upon bringing him back, but because it was the proper thing to do. Samir, in a fit that Gwenya believed to be some kind of post-resurrection hysteria, broke down and declared her a true paragon of justice. She brought him to Greywood for medical observation, where after a clean bill of health, he swore loyalty to her and asked 'to be allowed the honor to follow [her] for all time'. To which she replied, 'sure, I mean, I suppose', and felt uncomfortable at the strange intensity of the man. Samir became a true believer, and over time his belief only strengthened as he convinced himself and others that Gwenya was a divine being representing justice, like an avatar of the concept itself. He has since risen to become Chairman of the Council of Executors of Greywood, a group responsible for looking after all the tiny details of Greywood's interests and executing Gwenya's will. Lately, he's been one of the chief proponents of independence, and his fervor has not quieted at all. He remains single as he feels disappointed by the mind and grandeur of all other women. Although Gwenya would sleep with him if he asked, he never will, as he views himself (and nearly every other mortal) as being unworthy of her. In essence, he ships Gwenya and Ceregos, a coupling neither of the two care for.
